Our Products
This screened, aged compost contains eggshells (pure calcium carbonate), making Brooks Compost an excellent liming agent. The pH is neutral and nitrogen content is at 1-2%. Compost holds nutrients in the soil and releases them as plants require. Brooks Compost is cured for a minimum of 1 year to insure the material is stable and safe to be used in any application.

Till about 1-2" of compost into the top 3-4" of existing soil. Compost is excellent for lawns, sports turf, and flower/garden beds.
This mix contains approximately 2/3 compost and 1/3 sand, which is blended and screened. Use as a soil amendment and mix with existing clay soil to aerate and enrich. Also can be used as a bedding mix where irrigation is available.
Our 50/50 is made with compost, sand, and clay. It's excellent for raised flower or vegetable beds, turf, or lawns. Use to replace topsoil where the soil has been removed, or where nutrient value is required. This mix is excellent for planting trees and shrubs.
